The Taylor hot tub.
This idea came to reality on the hot, dry afternoons following monsoon
season. Noting that our rusting jeep-trailer held water after
a rain, we cleaned it up and painted the inside white, fill it with water
from the "Bod-douch",
let it sit in the sun all day and by evening, we had a tub of hot
water. Often the crew would line up to take their turn. The main
safety factor was keeping an equal CG (center of gravity). An unequal balance
would tip the trailer and spill it's contents.
Sunday Morning Excitement
We would take our personal weapons to the firing range for
an OPS check. And there was the occasional rat hunt at the dump
.
Sea-Wolf Tailgunner.
During our last days in country, we had film to shoot so I
had this shot taken. Always wanted to be a tailgunner.
Pat's battle damage.
This was a view of our Det sign, bunker, and shower. Pat
had, along with a couple of other wolves, sustained injuries from a
jeep rollover on the runway returning from the Army's NCO Club late one night.
