This is a sister ship of my Huey that's
on display in the Ft. Rucker air museum. It's S/N is six numbers away from
mine, both built in 1960. So, this is how mine looked when it was new.
They were part of the first shipment of 25 that arrived to begin training
pilots for Vietnam.
It's too clean to look real, too clean to fly, lacks the "character" that
mine shows.
Flex guns (twin M-60's) fired by the copilot,
7 shot rocket pods, all still in use at the time we left Vietnam
