Public Notice - Zoning Change from C-2 Highway Commercial District and I-1 Light Industrial District to R-1 Single-Family Residential District

Public Notice is hereby given that on the 20th day of October, 2022 at 6:00 P.M. in the City Council Meeting Room, 101-B North Broad Street, Cairo, Ga., that the Cairo Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the matter or question of whether or not to allow a zoning change from C-2 Highway Commercial District and I-1 Light Industrial District to R-1 Single-Family Residential District; for the property listed as Tax Map 68, parcel 52 at the location of Highway 84 E.  If any person shall require language interpretation, please contact Vicky Redden at the City Utility Building, 100 2nd Street S.W., Cairo, Georgia 39828 before 3:30 P.M. on October 13, 2022.

            Public Notice is hereby given that on the 14th day of November 2022 at 6:00 P.M. in the City Council Meeting Room, 101-B North Broad Street, Cairo, Ga., the Mayor and Council of the City of Cairo will hold a public hearing on the recommendation submitted by the Cairo Planning Commission on October 20, 2022. 

 

            The matter or question to be passed on after said hearing is as follows:

Whether or not to rezone from C-2 and I-1 to R-1 the above-described parcels at the location of Highway 84 E.      

The property is shown on County Tax Map 68, Parcel 52
