Cemetery and Parks

The Citizens of Cairo have four city parks at their disposal for family fun or whatever the day may bring.  The City’s Community Services Department maintains Azalea Park, Davis Park, Holder Park, and Southern Terrace Park.  Each of these parks are available for rental for family reunions, birthday parties, weddings, or other gatherings. If you are interested in the rental of one of the parks you may contact the City Clerk’s Office for an application or print one online. 

Cemetery and Parks also maintains the City’s four cemeteries - Cairo, Crestview, Forestlawn, and Greenwood Cemeteries.  Each Lot is $300 per lot, however, we are no longer selling lots in Greenwood Cemetery.  If you are interested in purchasing a cemetery lot please contact the City Clerk’s Office.
