PUBLIC NOTICE - Zoning Change from I-1 Light Industrial District to R-1 Single-Family Residential District

Public Notice is hereby given that on the 18^th day of January, 2024 at 6:00 P.M. in the City Council Meeting Room, 101-B North Broad Street, Cairo, Ga., that the Cairo Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the matter or question of whether or not to allow a zoning change from I-1 Light Industrial District to R-1 Single-Family Residential District; for the property listed as Tax Map 53, parcel 13.1 at the location of 1^st Avenue S.W.  If any person shall require language interpretation, please contact Vicky Redden at the City Utility Building, 100 2^nd Street S.W., Cairo, Georgia 39828 before 3:30 P.M. on January 11, 2024.

Public Notice is hereby given that on the 12^th day of February 2024 at 6:00 P.M. in the City Council Meeting Room, 101-B North Broad Street, Cairo, Ga., the Mayor and Council of the City of Cairo will hold a public hearing on the recommendation submitted by the Cairo Planning Commission on January 18, 2024. 

The matter or question to be passed on after said hearing is as follows:

Whether or not to rezone from I-1 to R-1 the above-described parcel at the location of 1^st Avenue S. W.      

The property is shown on County Tax Map 53, Parcel 13.1
